I've eaten one so far. Very tasty, but the pastry is very hard/solid which I guess it has to be to survive transit. The cooking instructions which I followed say 180 for 70 mins from frozen, but I'll try allowing it to defrost, then cook lower and for less time. to see it that helps the pastry texture. Arrived very well packed, but that raises the question - what to to with the very substantial polystyrene box? Is it returnable?

Dissapoining - I purchased the Giant traditional pasties and whilst they were very tasty, a large percentage of the advertised weight was pastry crust which was far too tick. Not enough filling in proportion. I won't be purchasing again based on thus as I don't think they are good value.

She made her own pasties that my Mother raved about for years, along with a Saffron Cake. We had a long journey back to Kent, but stopped in the New Forest. We unwrapped our tea towels to find these huge pasties, still warm and smelling divine! I never forgot that amazing moment when all the flavors just all came together!\n\nYour Pasties really are the best.
