Not just any Pork Pie, Proper Pork Pies, these are the “Bentley” of their class, hand raised and jelly free, just honest to goodness Pork. These products have been hailed as best in class by many of our expert bakery customers! Also available in Pork & Cranberry at Christmas time!
Available in a 142g format as standard, the bake off process is the same as the Cornish Pasty…180 deg celsius. Our recommended serving suggestion is served with a dollop of English Mustard!
7″ and 10″ Jumbo Scored Sausage Rolls
Our award winning range also includes the finest sausage rolls, served in a variety of flavours and sizes. Choose from Giant, Jumbo and Small with fillings rangeing from Pork, Spicy Vegetable, Cheese and Onion or alternative what about trying our Haggis Roll, a January event as a tribute to Robert Burns.
Small Sausage rolls are 5″ long and 92g in weight, whereas Giant is 8″ and 162g, Jumbo is our most popular size at 7″ weighing in at 142g. The finest ingredients go into Proper Sausage rolls!
Sausage & Cheese / Bacon & Cheese Turnovers
A great breakfast favourite amongst the student fraternity within our range of speciality savouries, offering a meal encompassing sausage and cheese and bacon and cheese. Wrapped in a flaky pastry sleeve to trap and hold that wonderful baked off flavour.
Our range of savoury slices is a start breakfast performer, choose between sausage or bacon encased in a mature cheddar cheese filling.
Cheese and Sundried Tomato Slice
A great favourite amongst vegetarians within our range of speciality pastry savouries, cheese and sundried tomato savoury slice is produced in a standard format offering a 170g meal, after bake-off.
A super vegetarian alternative, and a great snack to eat at lunchtime! This savoury slice contains sundried tomatoes in a rich cheddar sauce. Sun dried tomatoes derived from before canning processes were perfected. Italian farmers would place tomatoes on their terracotta roof to dry them out!
Chicken Tikka Slice
Tender chunks of juicy white chicken breast marinated in our special tikka sauce, mixed together with onions and seasoning to give that unmistakeable Indian aroma! The chicken tikka savoury slice is wrapped in a scored flaky pastry sleeve.
Chicken Tikka is a dish from South Asia. It originated in the Punjab region of India and also Pakistan, traditionaly baked on skewers in a clay oven after marinating in spices and yoghurt. This slice is also delivered in a 170g format.
Steak Savoury Slice
Cram packed full of the best Chuck Steak minced into a chunky style filling. Combined with a tasty gravy and a hint of secret seasoning. Sealed in a plain, flaky pastry sleeve.
This slice is one of our best sellers, a convenient eat to grab and go…really popular on our catering vans. We recommend this savoury served together with a gravy topping, mushy peas and a dollop of mint sauce to boot!
